• Founders have led teams across Canada in energy marketing and customer service since 2021.

• Focus on Alberta Electricity and Natural Gas supply for residential, small and medium commercial, property management, and apartment buildings.

• 2022 - Activate Energy began servicing the direct-to-consumer model via our online portal

• 2020 - Founders started billing and services - partnering with some of the largest and fastest-growing companies in Alberta

• 2001 - Early days!
  Started servicing customers in the recently de-regulated Alberta electricity market

Once upon a time, in the early days of the 2020 pandemic, two unlikely friends (and former colleagues), found themselves staring at each other across a Zoom call talking about innovation, fresh ideas, and helping people in their community.

Combining their long histories in the Canadian energy markets and a talent for everything systems and coding, they decided to partner with an industry-leading energy retail company to bring simplicity, transparency, and new ideas to the Alberta retail energy market.

After almost five amazing years of growth and hard work, we still love what we do and have an incredible amount of fun. We always aim to be the best was can - creating new things and spending hours discussing ways to bring even more value to our customers. We even get out of the office and have some fun from time to time too!
