All Prices are for Electricity and/or Natural Gas consumption only. These rates do not include other charges required to deliver electricity to your site which will be added to your monthly billing. Other charges include Supplier Charges and Regulated Distribution, Transmission, Rate Riders, Local Access Fees or other one-time costs. All Regulated charges are approved by the provincial government and are identical regardless of which retailer is servicing your site. See the Terms and Conditions for more details.

Retail and Admin Charges

The Monthly Admin Fee for all Energy Plans is set to $9.95 per site per month which is applied to cover costs associated with billing and Local Customer Care. All fixed Energy Plans will have a per site per day Contract Fee of 33¢ (1 and 3 years) or 49¢ (5 years) added to each bill. All Variable rate products will include a Retail Fee for each kWh or GJ consumed. All fees are identified on the online signup form. Termination

ALL Electricity Plans and ALL Natural Gas Variable Price plans have No Early Termination Fees (aka Break Fees) as long as the customer has provided 10 days' notice that they would like to cancel their service with Activate Energy. Natural gas Fixed-Price plans have an exit fee that is identified on the Activate Energy customer signup form located at www.BillHub.ca/Signup/ActivateEnergy.

Variable Rate Products

Variable Rate products (also known as Index or Floating Rate products) energy pricing will change based on the underlying daily or hourly changes in energy pricing on the open market. The rate shown for any Variable Rate products is indicative of the historical (previous 12 months) average rate only and does not necessarily indicate what the rate will be in the future. **The approximate average Natural Gas rate over the last 12 months is $1.40/GJ excluding any load shape or monthly weighted consumption calculations.
